Global Family Entertainment Company The Pinkfong Company Achieves Remarkable Feat of Its Next-Generation IP 'Bebefinn' Ranking #1 in Toy Sales on Amazon Japan
The Pinkfong Company's emerging intellectual property (IP), 'Bebefinn,' a global family entertainment company, has received an enthusiastic response in the Japanese market, achieving the remarkable feat of its related toy products climbing to the top spot in Amazon Japan's sales rankings. In particular, the 'Bebefinn Mother Goose Pad' soared to the top of both the 'Musical Toys' and 'Piano and Keyboard Instruments' subcategories within Amazon Japan's toy category immediately after its launch in Japan on October 13, showcasing Bebefinn's power.
Designed as an educational toy to aid the development of infants and toddlers, the 'Bebefinn Mother Goose Pad' is equipped with 10 popular English-speaking nursery rhymes, melodies, and three play modes, earning praise for simultaneously capturing children's interest and delivering learning effectiveness. Furthermore, the 'Bebefinn Sound Book' and 'Bebefinn English Card Bus' also entered the top 10 in their respective categories, proving the strong market competitiveness of the Bebefinn IP.
Bebefinn, The Pinkfong Company's next-generation core IP, following the success of 'Pinkfong' and 'Baby Shark,' has already demonstrated its power on the global stage. It was the first Korean animation to rank #1 in the Netflix Kids section in 11 countries, including the United States, and its cumulative YouTube subscriber count has now surpassed 70 million. In the Japanese market, it has been broadcast via terrestrial broadcaster TBS since October, rapidly expanding its recognition.
Joo Hyemin, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of The Pinkfong Company, stated, "It is very significant that we have confirmed Bebefinn's outstanding content and product competitiveness in Japan, where the character market competition is extremely fierce." She added, "Through the Bebefinn IP experience, which effectively combines educational value and fun, we will further solidify our position in the local market."
Since establishing its Japanese subsidiary, The Pinkfong Company has been actively pursuing localization strategies, accelerating its market penetration. By actively engaging in online and offline integrated businesses, such as a standalone pop-up store at Shinjuku Marui Department Store and collaborations with kids' cafe 'Little Planet,' the company is expanding its contact points with local fans, and the number of visitors to offline events is also steadily increasing. This achievement of ranking #1 on Amazon is regarded as a valuable fruit of these localization efforts.
