Applause has opened a new horizon for the mobility music experience by fully unveiling 'Applause Auto,' an AI music service for vehicles, at Hyundai Motor Group's innovative developer conference 'Pleos 25.' Based on AI technology that precisely analyzes drivers' individual tastes and real-time driving data, Applause Auto generates and plays customized playlists optimized for the vehicle driving environment. This transforms the in-car music listening experience from simple background music into a differentiated content experience. Particularly noteworthy is its close integration with 'GleoAI,' the voice recognition system to be applied to Hyundai Motor Group's next-generation infotainment platform, 'Pleos Connect.' Drivers can receive music recommendations and easily check detailed information about the currently playing song with just voice commands, providing a more intuitive and safer user experience. Pleos 25, held at COEX in Seoul on the 28th of last month, was an event where Hyundai Motor Group invited domestic and international developers to share its vision for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and plans for creating a future infotainment app ecosystem. The unveiling of Applause Auto at this event demonstrates the importance of personalized in-car experiences as a key element of Hyundai Motor Group's SDV strategy. Applause, which started as an in-house startup at Hyundai Motor and then spun off, possesses unique technological capabilities in music solutions that create optimal atmospheres for different spaces. Its customized playlist generation technology, which combines unique spatial data and real-time data, has already proven its value through successful collaborations with various leading companies, including Hyundai Motor, KT, and Hanwha Hotels & Resorts. Bae Jeong-jin, CEO of Applause, emphasized, "We will actively utilize the diverse in-vehicle APIs provided by Hyundai Motor to implement a customized music recommendation system that perfectly synchronizes with real-time driving environments."
