Marketboro announced on the 27th that its enterprise food tech solution 'MarketBom' is showing rapid growth in the franchise industry, with 442 franchise headquarters having adopted it as of the end of 2024. This number represents a 2.3-fold increase from just 193 users two years ago.
MarketBom, with its mobile app-based intuitive interface, efficiently supports the entire process of food ingredient distribution, from order automation, real-time inventory management, easy payment and settlement, to headquarters' integrated supply chain management. Unlike complex existing ERP systems or in-house developed solutions, it allows tasks to be processed anytime, anywhere with a smartphone, leading to high customer satisfaction because even inexperienced franchisees can easily use it.
In particular, as franchisee order data accumulates, it optimizes ordering, resulting in cost savings by reducing unnecessary expenses. Among the 8,759 franchise headquarters nationwide, large companies traditionally preferred their own in-house solutions, but recently, the adoption of order brokerage SaaS, like MarketBom, which combines excellent functionality with reasonable costs, is spreading. Franchises that have gained nationwide fame, such as Isaac Toast, Yoajeong, Palgakdo, and Okdwenjang, are already enhancing their operational efficiency through MarketBom.
In fact, Park Jiyoung, CEO of Sushi Hwa, which operates over 20 stores nationwide, praised the "ordering system that even inexperienced franchisees can use immediately, and the resolution of accounts receivable disputes." Yang Sunghwan, CEO of Cafe Ilbun, who fully transitioned their existing ordering system to MarketBom, highly praised it, saying, "Ordering, payment, and accounts receivable issues have disappeared, and the headquarters' workload has been dramatically reduced." They emphasized that if a franchise has more than 10 stores, there is no reason not to use a solution like MarketBom.
Currently, MarketBom is being utilized in a total of over 77,000 restaurants in Korea, extending beyond franchises to include independent restaurateurs. Park Jihwan, MarketBom Business Leader, stated, "The number of customers transitioning from their own or third-party solutions to MarketBom is steadily increasing." He expressed his ambition, saying, "We plan to continuously develop data-driven services to maximize our clients' operational efficiency."
