The startup growth analysis platform 'Forest of Innovation,' operated by Mark & Company, announced on the 7th that it will present the outcomes of its open innovation projects for 2025 and strengthen its data-driven solutions in 2026.
Mark & Company participated as an open innovation partner for over ten major domestic conglomerates and mid-sized companies, including Samsung Welstory, Hyundai Motor Group, and Hyundai Home Shopping, linking over 25 proof of concept (PoC) projects. Projects validated through the PoC process are expected to continue in 2026, promoting joint commercialization between startups and sizable mid-sized enterprises.
The key to these achievements lies in the extensive startup data of 'Forest of Innovation.' Mark & Company has been recognized for increasing the probability of successful collaboration by discovering and connecting promising startups suitable for the innovation demands of its partner mid-sized enterprises through business performance and technology data analysis.
The company has also achieved results in fostering internal ventures. Among 13 teams participating in Mark & Company’s internal venture acceleration in 2025, 7 teams (54%) have completed business viability verification. Internal venture teams in mobility, content, and agricultural sectors are poised for spin-off entrepreneurship or internal commercialization transition in 2026.
Hong Kyung-pyo, CEO of Mark & Company, stated, “If 2025 was the year to confirm the potential of AI, this year is the time to generate tangible results through AI implementation.” He added, “We are receiving inquiries from large and mid-sized enterprises asking us to find suitable partners through our database of over 3,000 verified AI startups.” He continued, “We will further enhance our solutions for discovering and matching technology companies that meet the specific needs of each enterprise within our database of over 20,000 startups.”
