MineEase, the operator of the fashion recommerce platform Charan, is introducing a new service that adds a verification feature to its consumer-to-consumer (C2C) service. MineEase has launched ‘Charan Market,’ which connects individual sellers and buyers.
Charan Market operates under three options based on the transaction method: Seller Shipping, Charan Care, and Premium Charan Care. ‘Seller Shipping’ is the typical C2C method where the seller directly sends the item to the buyer. ‘Charan Care’ is a consignment service in which the platform first receives the product from the seller, conducts verification, steaming, sterilization, packaging, and shipping processes. ‘Premium Charan Care’ adds a professional authentication process to the Charan Care procedure.
If any contamination, damage, size, or color discrepancies that are not mentioned in the product description are found during the verification process, the buyer will be notified, and they can request to cancel the transaction and receive a refund. In the case of Premium Charan Care, if an item is determined to be counterfeit, a full refund and compensation will be processed.
The usage fee is divided into a basic usage fee and a selling commission. The selling commission is 4% of the sale price, charged upon purchase confirmation. The items eligible for transactions include men's and women's clothing, children's clothing, and fashion accessories.
MineEase CEO Kim Hye-seong stated, “We have launched this C2C service with a verification system to enhance transaction convenience and trust in the recommerce market.”
