## 4by4 Declares Broadcasting Innovation with AI Image Quality Enhancement Solution 'PIXELL': Plugin Unveiled at KOBA 2025 Content AI solution company 4by4 has opened new horizons in the media industry by developing its unique AI image quality enhancement technology 'PIXELL' into a dedicated plugin optimized for broadcast production environments. This innovative solution made its debut at 'KOBA 2025 (The 33rd International Broadcast, Media, Audio & Lighting Exhibition)' and is receiving keen interest from industry officials. At KOBA 2025 held at COEX, Seoul, 4by4 has set up a joint booth with Geminisoft, a specialized company in broadcast digital media management platforms, and is currently demonstrating the newly developed broadcast-specific 'PIXELL' plugin. Following the business agreement signed with Geminisoft last March, both companies successfully completed the perfect integration of 4by4's 'PIXELL' solution into Geminisoft's Media Asset Management (MAM) system software. The 'PIXELL' plugin unveiled this time is designed to be immediately integrated without altering the complex workflow of existing MAM software, thereby maximizing efficiency in broadcast environments. This means that during the process of storing and recalling video content within the MAM system, the 'PIXELL' solution allows for improving video quality or flexibly changing video formats and options. What is particularly noteworthy is that the 'PIXELL' plugin does not merely stop at image quality improvement but significantly enhances the metadata extraction function, which is central to media asset management. By improving the original quality of the video, it supports the more precise and easier extraction of various data within the video, such as person and object recognition, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and STT (Speech-to-Text). This is expected to dramatically increase the searchability and usability of broadcast content. Bae Seong-wan, Head of 4by4's Solution Business Division, stated, "We are already receiving high praise from industry officials who have directly confirmed the performance of the 'PIXELL' plugin through on-site demonstrations, and the response is so enthusiastic that some broadcasters have even begun discussions with a view to adoption."
