11Liter - Samsung Electronics Unveils SmartThings Pet Care 'AI Health Analysis Feature'

The progressive disease AI analysis service of pet healthcare startup SiBilliTer will be integrated into Samsung Electronics' SmartThings platform. On the 4th (local time), during the 'CES 2026 The First Look' event held in Las Vegas, Samsung Electronics unveiled a smart pet care AI health analysis feature in collaboration with SiBilliTer's pet health management solution, 'Lifet.' The key technology of this service enables pet owners to take photos of suspected areas of disease on their pets using their smartphones. The AI analyzes the images to identify major progressive diseases such as dental diseases, patellar luxation, and cataracts, facilitating early intervention. SiBilliTer's core competitiveness lies in its independently developed AI technology, which can determine the presence and severity of progressive diseases in pets within just three seconds using only smartphone photos. The diagnostic aid software for patellar luxation achieved a sensitivity of 97.6% and a specificity of 98.8% in clinical trials, obtaining the first grade-3 medical device approval for animals in the country. The study results were published in the SCI-level international journal 'Scientific Reports.' At the CES 2026 'C-Lab Exhibition', a total of four AI health analysis services will be showcased, including an analysis of obesity (BCS) in addition to the three diseases. SiBilliTer will also unveil a B2B solution in the form of an API that allows pet insurance, commerce, and healthcare device companies to integrate its AI engine into their services.
